New Year's Day Fun Run and Walk

The annual Blairgowrie New Year’s Day Fun Run and Walk sees hundreds of people gather at Blairgowrie Bowling Club for a four-mile run or walk. The route is child, buggy and dog friendly meaning that the event has a real community feel to it as folk get together to blow away the cobwebs of the night before and put their best foot forward for the year to come.

Registration is at Blairgowrie Bowling Club from 11am on the day or ahead of the event online, with the walkers setting off at noon and the runners leaving at 1pm.

Organised by volunteers from local running group the Blairgowrie Runners, entry to the event is £5 (free for under 12s) with all proceeds donated to local charities.
